Mooch Designs is a boutique business, offering friendly service, established in 2006, that now operates from the beautiful seaside town of Barwon Heads, Victoria, Australia.
The idea was developed when our home extension in inner Melbourne went well over budget. Instead of purchasing expensive art, I used my creative flair to make fabric wall art to coordinate with our interior decor in the bedroom, the kids bedrooms and the living area.
Friends and family were so impressed with the artwork that the Mooch Designs business and online store evolved. With a "keen eye" and common passion for fabrics, "Aunty Annette" joined Mooch Designs to coordinate wall art with cushions.
When selling our home in Melbourne, I decorated with over twenty cushions and ten pieces of wall art for the house inspections. Our single fronted house sold for a record price! I am currently enjoying decorating our new house in a natural style inspired by my many years living and working in an alpine environment and now by the influences of our beautiful seaside surroundings.
Caroline has three active boys and a passion for kayaking and skiing. Holly Gibson is the amazing and dedicated Mooch Designs sewer.
Mooch Designs imports fabrics from England, America & Japan. There are also many homegrown Australian designer fabrics. We sell products to home owners, renters, home sellers, interior designers, display home stylists and specialist shops. Many products are custom made for our clients.
I just wanted to tell you that we received the cushions today and they look fantastic and fit in perfectly, thankyou so much. I didn't actually expect you to be able to post them out so soon and really appreciate the effort you have made.
Our couches are a steel grey colour,so the red and other colours really works well. You never can be sure how things will look when you haven't seen them for yourself but the photos gave a very accurate indication of the depth and tone of colours, hence I was confident.
Good luck with your business venture. It is much nicer to buy something handmade as it is more unique and special than anything you can buy from a department store.
